I’ve been sharing this salsa recipe, and thought maybe some of you would like it too!
Being the AZ girl that I am, I have become addicted to salsa. I’ve also become a salsa snob. I hate the jarred stuff… blech! I think it’s sad people call THAT salsa.
hehe… so I finally took a stab at making my own, and I must say that it is really tasty!! I made one batch a few days ago and figured out what I liked, then made an even better batch last night.

Megan’s Yummilicious, Supa’ Dupa’ Fresh Chunky Salsa
-4 large tomatoes, get rid of the seeds and goo, then dice it
-1/2 white onion, diced
-2 large jalepenos, KEEP ALL THOSE SEEDS (if you’re a wimp, get rid of the seeds from one pepper), diced
-2 cloves garlic, crushed
-1 lime
-Cilantro, chopped (however much you like)
-Salt and pepper to taste
Mix together the diced tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, garlic, and cilantro. Squeeze the lime juice into the mixture and add as much salt and pepper as you like. Stir it up and EAT IT!
I sat down and ate half of it last night… lol. But it was even TASTIER this morning after all those flavors had a chance to come together! This recipe makes 2 Megan-sized servings (I love salsa, what can I say?)…. but it would be enough for a party, as long as you didn’t invite me.
I’ll be back late tonight or in the morning for the news on DOLLAR DAY!
